Time Off for Voting

Bahadourian Protections, Inc. grants employee time off for voting in a statewide election, if employee does not have sufficient time outside of work, without loss of pay. Time off is limited to two (2) hours and shall be at either the beginning or end of the normal working shift. Employees must notify employer at least two (2) working days in advance of voting. In addition, employees may serve as election officials on election day without being disciplined, but the employer is not required to pay them for such absences.
